TikTok User Discovers Truth About Her Father After Receiving Strange Text

In the first viral TikTok clip, Lane explained that on January 9, 2021, she received a text from an unknown person telling her to get a DNA test from Ancestry.com. Initially, Lane thought it was fake and decided to tell her friend, who, on the contrary, had a gut feeling that it was real and advised that she responds to it. As her friend advised, Lane responded and received another text from the unknown number.

After the conversation, the TikToker said she confronted her mom, who eventually admitted to having a fling with a man ten years younger than her while receiving her education degree. Lane's mom further told her daughter that the man who raised her wasn't her biological father. Shocked, the TikToker took the DNA test. Six weeks later, she found out who her biological father was.

After discovering who her biological father was, Lane finally reached out to him. The man told his daughter that he had googled her name continuously since her mom sent him a Christmas card with her name on it when she was only two years old. Then, in 2007, Lane's name popped up in a picture, and when the man saw it, he knew she was his daughter.

So, Lane's father did everything to get in contact with his daughter, including reaching out to the TikToker's mom, who threatened him. After many failed efforts, he began following Lane on social media, watching her achieve various milestones from a distance. The man also did other things, like calling Lane's workplace, hoping to hear her voice.

According to the TikToker, after their first meeting, they hung out, but she felt like her biological dad didn't like her every time. Nevertheless, she hoped that after a few days, things would get better. Unfortunately, it didn't, and Lane said it was really hard.
