Wednesday has been a massive hit on Netflix, and there are no signs of it slowing down. The audience welcomed Wednesday Addams with open arms and fell in love with the character.

However, Jenna Ortega, the actress behind the character, had to work through some retakes to deliver the perfect piece of work.

The Bloopers Have Everyone Cracking Into Laughter

It goes without saying that Jenna Ortega had to keep a straight face throughout every scene considering Wednesday Addams does not display any emotion.

That being said, it’s not exactly easiest to always have your best poker face on while being surrounded by an entire crew. Therefore, there were times when Ortega couldn’t control her laughter.

On the other hand, the other members of the cast had their fair share of breaking character as well and would break into laughter while filming some of the scenes with Jenna Ortega. Undoubtedly, there’s no way any film has ever been shot without bloopers, and Wednesday is no exception.

However, considering Wednesday Addams’ emotionless character, it’s a change of pace when the bloopers show Ortega breaking character and laughing!

The popularity of the show stemmed from the excitement that it was one of the most anticipated shows of 2022.

Moreover, a significant portion of Wednesday’s target audience were individuals who had seen the previous shows and movies, and it was about bringing some of those characters back on the screen and having the nostalgia flowing.

The show is expected to be renewed for a second season and if it doesn’t happen, the fans will not be fine with it in any shape or form.
