The 'GOAT' debate is something fans in every sport argue over. Be it soccer, football, or basketball, fans always like to make a case for why they think a certain player is the 'GOAT' while another one should not be considered for the same. While the reality is that the greats are separated by the finest of margins and personal preference and biases play a huge role in making such lists. This was on display as Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry was recently asked to name his dream team. It is safe to say that fans did not take well to his selection.

Stephen Curry Makes His Five-Star Pick

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Curry was asked to pick his dream team. He said, "Oh so I am on the team? so it is a dream four. I am at PG, I am going with Magic (Johnson) we will play hybrid guard. you got Jordan, you got Dirk (Nowitzki) spacing the floor shooting the ball and you got the big man, the diesel holding it down. So, that is a solid lineup I think."

Curry Makes a Controversial Pick

Needless to say, any 'GOAT' list will not be free of controversy. Curry's picks had fans fuming as it left out the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James among others in favor of Dirk Nowitzki. Many fans believe that the four-time NBA champion is jealous of LeBron James.
