George Clooney's first marriage to Talia Balsam came to an end in 1993 after four years of marriage. Following that, Clooney dated a string of women including the likes of Renée Zellweger, Elisabetta Canalis, and Charlize Theron among others. However, these relationships never escalated into anything serious and Clooney was branded as someone who would never settle down. That changed in 2013 when he met British-Lebanese human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin in 2013 and got engaged shortly after in April 2104.

George Clooney’s First Impressions
As is the case in most relationships, the first impression is always extremely impactful and something that stays with you forever. In an interview from September this year, George Clooney revealed what he thought of Amal the first time they met each other. He said, "It was easy, the minute she walked in the door I was just taken by her. And the fun part was, I did not know whether she would like me or any of those things. She's this extraordinarily fun, smart, beautiful, great woman and I was just very taken with her."

In the same interview, Amal Clooney went on to share her first impressions of her now husband George Clooney. She said, "I met him and I thought, I am so glad that there is someone like him in this world. I did not necessarily imagine that I would get to spend my life with him or we would have this incredible family. So it took me by surprise."

George and Amal Clooney welcomed twins on the 6th of June, 2017. While they admitted the early years were tough, it has become a lot easier now that their children are almost six. The pair also went on to reveal that the twins speak fluent Italian and French which neither of them know. Clooney joked that even if his children were cursing him he would not understand it.
