Rebel Wilson is making her debut in the fashion world, and should we say she's starting on the wrong foot? The Fat Amy star is now facing heavy criticism over the limited size range in her new fashion line.

Wilson was well grounded in the plus size category until the last two years saw her lose over 77 pounds. She's been open about her struggles with diet and fertility all along the way. So what is the fuzz about the sizes in her new fashion line?

You can only know if you keep reading.

Wilson Announces New Fashion Line

On November 3, the star announced a limited edition launch of a new fashion line with her girlfriend Ramona Agruma, an L.A.-based owner of Lemon Ve Limon, a loungewear company.

The line features just a pair of sweatpants ranging from XS-XL and a hoodie in sizes XS- L/XL.

However, many of her fans have expressed disappointment in the lack of size inclusivity and the actress forgetting about the fat community in the R&R Club.

Outrage From Fans

Wilson has always been so outspoken about her struggles as a plus-sized actress in Hollywood and how it has made it difficult for her to get roles, so this explains why her fans are outraged over her decision to exclude large sizes from her line.

Influencer Destiny Ann asked in a video shared on TikTok:

"Can we talk about the lack of size inclusivity in Rebel Wilson's new brand??? wtf, i don't understand how someone who is plus size for the majority of her career and the majority of her life, someone who knows how hard it is to be fat, to shop for clothing and actually find it in your size- how someone with that background, that knowledge can release a brand that only goes up to an XL."

A displeased Twitter user also wrote.

"This whole Rebel Wilson situation is deep under my skin. She honestly put out a clothing line that doesn’t include any plus sizes, even combining L and XL. Her entire career was built around her mocking her own plus-sized body. The f****g audacity.”

Addressing The Root Of Criticism

While the actor has not directly addressed the backlash, she's addressing the source of it and wrote on her Instagram story, "In success, we are planning on doing more colors and sizes for R&R CLUB.

"We're experimenting with this limited capsule collection of only two pieces in limited sizes" and asked fans to send in their opinions on sizing and color options.

First Ever Plus Size Star Of A Comedy Hit

Wilson, who famously described herself as the first-ever-plus-size girl to be the main act of a romantic comedy, blocked off Twitter users who condemned her exclusion of Black plus-sized women like Queen Latifah and Mo'Nique, is certainly not new to drama surrounding "sizes."

However, we hope she expands the line as soon as possible to curb controversy and allow more success for her fashion exploits.
