Dua Lipa rounded up her Future Nostalgia world tour last week with a nice surprise from the Albanian government - she finally became a citizen!

The tour's finality gave the pop star a chance to pursue other interests (although she already did them on the side), like attending Variety's Hitmaker's unveiling party and performing at the annual jingle ball.

'Tis the season to be jolly, and Lipa embraced the festive spirit during her set by performing in a red mini dress.

Performing At The Jingle Ball

The British singer wore a skintight mini red dress traipsed with a black lace diagonal cutout across her chest. The dress had a skintight leotard underneath with a hip-high slit on her draped skirt teasing it.

Lipa paired her dress with nude fishnet stockings and short black satin boots while her long black hair fell to her back as she belted out her hit songs.

The singer wore a different outfit for her morning set, combining logo-printed Gucci pants with an open jacket designed with shearling on the epaulets and cuffs. Let's remember the Yankees hat in L.A.!

'Variety's 2022 Hitmaker

Variety named Lipa and Elton John the Hitmakers of the year for their song, Cold Heart. She attended the award ceremony in an oversized pinstripe gray pantsuit with loose-fitted straight-legged pants and a loose-hanging blazer.

Lipa accessorized her suit with multiple jewelry pieces to give the look some character and wore black sunglasses over her lightly made-up face. She styled her black hair down with a center parting and one end over her shoulder.

During the event, she met with some of her colleagues in the industry, including Selena Gomez, with whom fans want her to collaborate soon.

Gaining Her Albanian Citizenship

Last week she shared more pictures from her final show in Tirana, showing off her toned physique in a black halter-neck dress with her hair piled atop her head in a curly bun. Despite being born to Albanian parents, it took Lipa several years to attain her citizenship since she was an Englishwoman by birth.

Regardless, she carried her country with pride and promoted it every step of the way, thus impressing the government who attended her citizenship signing personally.

With the tour over and the year wrapping up nicely, Lipa prepares to release another album that'll knock us off our socks again! She told Australia Vogue that the new album makes her feel more liberated, like the YSL perfume she promotes, Libre.

We can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for Lipa.
