Billie Eilish is making headlines for addressing attitudes toward women in Hollywood. The 20-year-old A-Lister singer is fresh from opening up to High Snobriety, where she touched on her image. Billie has already made headlines galore this year for going public with her new relationship and releasing her second fragrance. Now, the bad guy hitmaker is saying that had she been more "feminine" and "girly," she would have received "less" respect. Eilish has slowly been showing more curves in recent years, but she once came exclusively clad in a baggy and covered-up wardrobe.

Talking Respect

Billie addressed a brief blonde stint she had, one making headlines as she covered Vogue.

“I feel sexier when I dress masculine. I didn’t feel sexy for one second of being blonde,” she said. “When I was blonde, people treated me differently. People completely changed their demeanor [around me].” The Grammy winner, who has made fall 2022 headlines for rocking a sheer and soaking wet dress to promote her Eilish No. 2 scent, added:

“I think that people have taken me more seriously because I’ve had this more masculine [way of dressing] throughout my career. If I had been more feminine and girly, people would’ve been a lot less respectful of me.”

Showing More Skin

Billie's default wardrobe is a super baggy shirt and matching shorts - with a Gucci monogram added in, the blue-eyed beauty has made the ensemble iconic, though. Billie also favors casual tees and cargo pants. However, in 2022, she made headlines for showing more skin and, in recent weeks, stunning fans in a sheer and mesh dress while covered in pouring water to promote her fragrance.

Speaking of a newer image amid new music releases, Billie reflected on how she felt about people once they saw her.

People Saw Her As A '15-Year-Old'

Eilish added:

“People saw me as this 15-year-old, a kid, who wore this kind of stuff, looked this kind of way, acted this kind of way, said this kind of way. I felt like I couldn’t change. That’s why I went so far to the other side."

Promoting Feature And Fragrance

Billie alerted fans to her High Snobriety feature on Instagram, shouting out both the magazine and her Eilish No. 2 scent. She posted a close-up face shot to open a futuristic shoot against a red backdrop - notably, the singer wore relatively baggy clothing. For more from Billie, give her Instagram a follow.
