The former teammates are coming together and joining hands to ensure that South Florida has all the facilities required to help a child train and become a professional athlete.
O’Neal will be one of the people who will fund the renovation of the ‘Comebaq Court’ in the Overtown Youth Center in Florida.
Both of them are focused on using their influence to nurture their young fans towards achieving their dreams. According to Shaquille O’Neal, this marks the beginning of helping as many children as possible.
“A lot of big-time people, especially on the gram, flashing what they got. Take care of the kids in your area. If we had the ability to take care of kids in 50 states, we’d do it. So, this will be a start.”
The project is estimated to cost approximately $20 Million. The idea is to provide children with the opportunity where they can nurture their talent and skills to become professional athletes. Furthermore, some of the values such as teamwork, important life skills, and being professional are taught to them as well.

According to Shaquille O’Neal, he will not stop funding his third Comebaq Court. His goal is to build such them globally to help as many individuals as he can.
“I’m doing Comebaq Courts all over the world, and it can definitely save a life. I always tell the young ballers, if you want to shoot something, shoot a ball.”
