Shakira's latest single, Monotonia, is taking off in the Latin community with a dance challenge, and the 40-year-old joined in the fun. She showed off her Spanish dancing talent in beautiful fiery silk pants.

Monotonia came after she and her ex-partner Gerard Pique announced that they were separating after 11 years together. The singer poured her heart into the song, and it's about to make her truckloads of money!

Dancing In Fiery Pants

The mother of two has an incredible physique thanks to her dancing talent and athleticism. She wore a skintight black top with three cutout rings on the front and loose-fitted silk pants with printed flames on a black background.

Shakira paired her outfit with her honey-blonde hair tousled to the side as she danced with the famous Bachata dance instructor, Truji. She had a simple instruction for Bachelors - Leave the box and arrive on time as Truji did in their video.

Thankful For Fans

The singer shared a surprise thanksgiving message last week via a short Instagram Reel. She thanked everyone for supporting her throughout the year, saying she felt lucky to have them in her corner.

Shakira's message referenced the news of her breakup after a long-term relationship with Barcelona footballer Pique and the subsequent tax evasion case against her from the Spanish government.

She's currently in court fighting the charges and using the details of her relationship with Pique as evidence of no wrongdoing.

Custody Battle And Tax Evasion Case

According to the singer, her relationship with Pique wasn't solid until 2015, after the birth of their second son. So, she didn't live fully in Spain before the time the authorities claimed she evaded taxes.

If she's found guilty, Shakira would most likely pay a fine rather than do jail time since she has no prior criminal record. The case is still ongoing alongside her custody battle with Pique.

According to Spanish court documents, the duo signed a custody agreement in a Barcelona court despite ignoring each other. They stayed true to their promise to keep their children safe and as the top priority in their lives.

"For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding."

The documents signed in Spain are the first step as Shakira plans on relocating to the United States with the boys. So, they need to sign another agreement to govern their relationship with the seven and nine-year-olds.
