Jessie James Decker has once again addressed the uproar surrounding a family snap she shared during the past weekend. The music star uploaded a lengthy address to trolls who called her out concerning the physique and toned abs of her children. Amid the media attacks, Jessie is reminding social media users of the need for body positivity.

Jessie Addresses The Media Backlash

The mom-of-three took to her Instagram page presenting a lengthy address to fans concerning the reactions to her kids' photos from the weekend. This time, Jessie shared a video version of the snapshot from the weekend, with no sound. The Should Have Knew Better star started off by stating that she initially did not plan to respond to the criticism, but due to the virality of the family photos and the headlining news that came afterward, she had to do something about it. Jessie penned:

"When I posted the pix of our vacation and included the kids being silly flexing on the beach on our thanksgiving trip I had NO clue it would get the reaction it did."

The songstress stated that she was quite perplexed after being accused of photoshopping abs on her kids and also accused of the "polar opposite" which was that she overtrained them to have toned midriff.

The Singer Wrote On Body Positivity

The Grow Young With You crooner wrote of how there was a wild spread notion of body positivity and acceptance, but her kids were still termed "weird" because of their bodies. The star mom stated that her kids' fit figures were a result of genetics and their love for athletics. She continued by sounding off that she wanted her children, Vivianne, Eric Jr., and Forrest to feel proud of their bodies. She noted that while her daughter was involved in gymnastics, her son, Eric Jr. channeled the NFL like his namesake dad, while the youngest, Forrest, loved dancing. Jessie wrote to the critics:

"Let's not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children. If we wanna do 'better' then do better. I'm proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams. So we'll see y'all at the 2032 Olympics..."

The Initial Post That Caused A Stir

Jessie and her family were enjoying their cozy family Thanksgiving celebration when she decided to flaunt some family moments on her social media page. The images were met with mixed reactions some people found her kids' abs to be unbelievable. The brood posed for snapshots and clips by the pool in their swimwear. Jessie's sons both shirtless displayed their bodies with fit lines across their tiny bodies.

Vivianne who looked lovely in peach swimwear also bore her own defined abs while flashing a smile. One person immediately commented noting that the kids' bodied did not " look right "to them. Jessie replied at the time noting that it was a sad world where healthy bodies and natural muscles were termed "weird."

The I Look So Good singer married her spouse, Eric Decker in 2013, and in the years that followed, they welcome three children. While Vivianne at 8, is the oldest, Eric jr., is seven and little Forrest is four years old. A few months ago, Jessie competed in Dancing With The Stars and her family was present to show her all their support. Back in September, the singer made it known she ad her spouse do not plan to expand their family further, but did not mind welcoming such a blessing.
