Sarah Hyland is back on-screen as Heidi with a new American comedy series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. She opened up about her experience during the shoot on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The actress appeared on the show and spoke to Kelly Clarkson about her character in Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. She revealed her character is a perfectionist, and that’s something she definitely relates to!
However, while talking about the singing bit of the show, Clarkson played the clip where Sarah Hyland is singing, and she was shook by Hyland’s beautiful voice!
The host assured Sarah Hyland that her voice sounds beautiful, and Hyland was squealing with joy upon hearing this!
Previously, Hyland and DeVine had worked together in Modern Family. The duo had paired up as a couple on the show for a brief period. However, their chemistry on-screen was magnificent and they made the show twice as fun to watch!
In Pitch Perfect, Sarah Hyland’s character is a love interest for Adam DeVine’s character, and the latter is happy to work this angle for the spin-off series.
“We love working with each other. I think a lot of Modern Family fans were kind of sad at how our characters didn't get together at the end of that series. And so this is like a fun way for them to get a little more of us together.”
Sarah Hyland married Adam Wells in 2022, and it was a dream wedding. She was surrounded by her friends and family, and among them were her co-stars from Modern Family Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ariel Winter, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
In fact, Jesse Tyler Ferguson officiated the wedding, and things couldn’t have been more perfect than what it was!
Hyland and Wells first met via social media in 2016 and had flirty exchanges. However, they didn’t actually become a couple until 2017. Adam Wells proposed in 2019, and the wedding was planned for 2020.
Unfortunately, they had to push it because of the pandemic and travel restrictions.
They finally tied the knot in 2022, and have been over the moon as a newlywed couple!
