After their surprise Las Vegas wedding in July and the bigger celebration that followed in August, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are making headlines again. Lopez is currently promoting her new album, This Is Me…Now , a follow-up to This Is Me…Then from 2002, both of which were heavily inspired by her relationship with Affleck.
The 53-year-old pop superstar sat down with Zane Lowe recently to talk about the albums and how her romance with Affleck has come full circle.

The couple’s breakup was officially announced by Lopez’s rep. Per People , the brief statement said, “Jennifer Lopez has ended her engagement to Ben Affleck. At this difficult time, we ask that you respect her privacy.”
April 2021: Romance Rekindled
The pair sparked romance rumors after they were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles and Montana. It was also in mid-April that Lopez confirmed her breakup with her boyfriend of four years, Alex Rodriguez.
July 2021: Instagram Official
For her 52nd birthday, Lopez posted a carousel of bikini photos taken on a yacht. The last image showed her and Affleck kissing, confirming once and for all that they had gotten back together. The post has since been archived, as Jen keeps a tidy feed.
September 2021: Bennifer 2.0 Red Carpet Debut
Affleck’s film, The Last Duel , premiered at the Venice Film Festival and he attended the event with Lopez as his date. It was their first red carpet appearance together in 18 years.
April 2022: Engaged Again
Lopez announced via her On the JLo newsletter in spring that she and Affleck were engaged once more. This time, he proposed with a green diamond engagement ring in the bathtub!
July 2022: Married Finally!
The couple finally took the plunge in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas. A month later, they held a second, bigger celebration in Affleck’s property in Georgia. So far, the couple seem to be enjoying marital bliss.
