Watch This Golden Retriever Puppy Try To Make Friends With Some Cats

The video, which is about a minute and 20 seconds long, shows a golden retriever puppy named Mia sitting around with various cats. The hyperactive pup attempts to groom some of the cats in some clips while trying to play with them in others. At one point, Mia begins barking with excitement.

The cats, meanwhile, have pretty similar (yet subtly different) reactions to Mia. The first is pretty calm, almost ignoring Mia altogether. That is, until it gets startled by Mia's hyperactivity. The second and third cats both try to keep their distance, with one of them even giving Mia a gentle boop to the face by the end of the video. It just goes to show that most adult animals have pretty limited patience with pups.

Fans were very entertained by Simon, the third cat to appear in the video and the one who tapped Mia on the face. It seems that of all the cats Mia tried to play with, he was the least patient in the end. Still, viewers loved seeing each cat interact with the pup.

Sure, you could definitely tell they weren't totally into babysitting a puppy. But apart from Simon hitting Mia, they were pretty calm and didn't react too much to anything Mia tried to do. It seems that they may not be the most compatible with the sweet puppy though.

The little puppy still has some growing up to do, and with it comes a little more patience and restraint. By then, I'm sure that the cats will warm up to her, and they'll all be a big, adorable, happy family, alongside the other pets in the house.
