Thanksgiving season is upon us, and with it comes days and days of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy. Depending on where you grew up, you might make your gravy a little different, what with spices and flavor preferences. But in general, it isn't going to be infused with anything like cannabis. Right?

Well, one Reddit user came across a baffling concoction: cannabis-infused turkey gravy. The user, who goes by halikadito on the site, decided to share a picture of the bafflingly strange combination of holiday comfort food and recreational drugs to Reddit's Mildly Interesting community. Tons of users weighed in on it.

The User Simply Posted A Jar Of The Stuff.

"Our local dispensary is selling cannabis infused gravy for Thanksgiving this year," the user wrote implying that they're from a state where recreational marijuana is legal. The image shows the jar, which provides ingredient information (cannabis oil, among many other things), as well as the cannabis content (200mg of THC). It also has a packaged date and a best before date, showing that the dispensary intended for this stuff to be used in and around the actual holiday.

Other than that, it could almost pass as a normal jar of gravy. Of course, you probably wouldn't find anything like it in your local supermarket.

Users Weighed In On Whether Or Not This Was A Good Idea.

Some users didn't like the idea at all.

To some users, cannabis-infused gravy seemed like a bad idea. Though some pointed out that the entire jar has 200mg of cannabis oil, which works out to a pretty low dose per serving (apparently). So unless somebody was going to chug the entire jar (which is just gross, let's face it), then no one would be getting that stoned at Thanksgiving.

Others Actually Seemed To Love The Idea.

Unsurprisingly, there were people out there who not only thought they might want to try the gravy but wished it was available at their local dispensaries.

Many Joked That It Would Bring The Peace During Family Gatherings.

Some users thought that the dosage would be just enough to chill the family out, and make Thanksgiving dinner a lot more peaceful. While they were more than likely joking, just remember not to drug other people's food without their knowledge (that's pretty illegal, after all).

And Of Course, Some Took The Opportunity To Practice Their Pun Game.

One user joked around and said "danksgiving."
