It took Florence Pugh a few days after the Governors Awards to share her Victoria Beckham metallic dress on Instagram, but it was worth the wait. The actress joined her peers and some veterans in Los Angeles for the 13th Annual Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards.

It was a night of beauty, fashion, and art, as we often see on the red carpet. It also comes a month after her latest movie, The Wonder, hit Netflix to critical acclaim, especially for her performance.

The Queen Of See-Through Dresses

Pugh looked ethereal in her see-through mesh dress with metallic pebbles on the sheer material. It has a low-cut cowl neck resting on a sheer bodice and a geometric V-cut skirt fused with more sheer fabric.

As if the pebbles, see-through material, and bridal satin design weren't enough, the Victoria Beckham dress had gold fringes on her skirt and side, adding a rich accent to her white gown.

Pugh accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. gold braided neckpiece matching her fringes and some rings, then topped the dress with white platform heels.

'The Wonder' Is Enigmatic

Pugh warned her fans to watch The Wonder on a big screen to appreciate its production best, and the reviews prove her correct! The Telegraph called the actress riveting, while other publications labeled her performance "A Wonder Indeed," "Magnetic," and "Stunning and Mysterious."

The Wrap tagged it Sebastian Lelio's best film yet despite him bagging an Academy Award for A Fantastic Woman in 2017. With such praise, we won't be surprised if the Academy nominates him and Pugh for next year's ceremony.

Separating Herself From The 'Don't Worry Darling' Drama

Earning praise for The Wonder helped Pugh separate herself from the Don't Worry Darling drama that ensued following her work with director Olivia Wilde. The duo were at the Governors Awards together but had no contact known to fans.

Rumors swirled that the English actress didn't like the relationship between her co-lead, Harry Styles, and Wilde on set, thus causing tensions between them. Wilde and Style are reportedly broken up now.

Pugh moved to the set of Dune: Part Two, which is set for release next year. Her role is Princess Irulan Corrino, the royal wife of Timothée Chalamet's Paul Atreides. Pugh enjoyed filming with the crew and cast, saying she felt lucky to be part of their franchise.

Dune: Part Two marks the second time Pugh and Chalamet would play on-screen love interests as fans pointed out. They previously starred in Little Women together as Amy and Laurie.
