The backlash comes after SKIMS released its versatile micro thong which is currently being retailed on the official website. Fans were particular about the size and design of the piece of underwear.

The Micro Thong In SKIMS Latest Lingerie Collection
The new micro thong which is going out for $14, was described as barely there, but fans still get it had some glitches. The underwear bears two tiny strings holding it together while the piece of clothing covering the crotch area barely concealed the upper part of the model's intimate area. The item is described as a size fits all formula but it does come in inclusive sizes like XXS up to 4X. According to the description on the site, the micro thong is a T-back string item that 'fits like a second skin."

Despite the description, many fans felt the lingerie piece was not designed for all sizes. Someone mentioned that the one size fits all purpose seemed defeated because it could barely even fit the model. Another person called the lifestyle company out noting that the thong was rather "an eyepatch." Someone stated that after seeing the micro-dipped thong, they doubted they would ever wear it.
However, there were fans who favored the piece and they did not hesitate to praise the SKIMS boss. Someone mentioned, "I need the new Skims micro thong now." Another stated, "I'm sorry but I'ma fan of the skims micro thong. Kimberly take my money."
