The word "artist" gets thrown around a lot, with very few people understanding what the word is actually supposed to entail. An artist is an innovator, someone whose work is instantly recognizable, thought-provoking, and at times controversial.

When it comes to true artists in the world of film, very few are more iconic than director Quentin Tarantino — who recently revealed that he plans on making his much-anticipated return to television in 2023.

Quentin has been at the absolute forefront of the world of cinema for the better part of his career. His signature style of cinematography, penchant for bloody violence, and unabashed use of racial slurs have become his calling card.

Over the course of the past 30 years, Quentin has been at the helm of some of the most celebrated films the world of cinema has ever come to know, including Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Kill Bill, and Pulp Fictionone of the greatest films ever made according to fans and critics.

The Master Director Revealed His Plan To Return To The Small Screen In 2023.

Tarantino confirmed that he would be producing and directing a brand-new eight-episode limited mini-series, but was mum on the details beyond that. As of yet, there's no word as to whether or not the series will appear on Netflix, Disney +, Prime Video, or another platform entirely. There's also no mention of the forthcoming project anywhere on his IMDb page.

Quentin's Return To Television Is Nearly 20 Years In The Making.

The last time Quentin sat in the director's chair for a TV show was when he directed two episodes for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation back in 2005. He also directed a single episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2004, as well as an episode of ER early on in his career in 1995. While there's no confirmation as to what fans can expect this time around, a few possibilities appear to be looming in the background.

It's Possible That Quentin Tarantino Could Take The Reigns Of His Own Marvel Superhero Series For Disney +.

During the book presentation, Quentin revealed his interest in telling the story of Marvel's Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos — a fictional band of brothers who fought against the Nazis in WWII. Quentin has already made his love of wartime drama known with Inglorious Basterds and has worked with Samuel L. Jackson countless times over. Could we see Jackson and Tarantino reunite one last time? I certainly mother-[expletive] hope so.
