Dove Cameron is making major headlines following last weekend's AMAs. The November 20th event earned the former Disney star her first American Music Award as she won New Artist of the Year. Dove also turned heads in a stunning white look as she rocked the corset trend and actually wore a top previously donned by artist Tinashe. Dove sizzled while showing off her curves in her low-cut number, one coming cropped and showing off her abs, too. Dove has also made headlines for her acceptance speech, plus performing the debut of her Boyfriend track.

Photos showed Dove rocking edgy vibes as she also channeled her signature angelic edge. The actress and singer showed off her killer figure as she went plunging in a segmented and form-fitting white corset top. Dove added in a billowing and dramatic black skirt as she went unusual, also sporting black matching elbow gloves.

The Liv and Maddie alum's skirt was floor-length and definitely on the deconstructed side. Dove further ditched her usual blonde locks for black ones, wearing a high ponytail with two very long braids framing her face. A mean catwing here also gave a shout-out to singer Ariana Grande.

Addressing Colorado Shooting

In her acceptance speech, Dove addressed the recent Colorado LGBT+ club shooting.

“You guys have carved out such a space for me to be myself and to write music about it and I’ve never felt safer or more loved and more supported and I hope I can give you some semblance of that same feeling in my music,” she told the crowd. “On the heels of the tragedy at Club Q in Colorado Springs, I want to remind everyone how important queer visibility is and how important our community is.”

Dedicating To The Queer Community

The A-Lister continued: “And I want to direct your attention to organizations like GLAAD and the Trevor Project for what you can do right now. I want to remind you that you are made absolutely right. And you are so loved.”

Dove further dedicated her award to the queer community.

A Star-Studded Night

This year's AMAs brought in a massive turnout of famous faces. Stunning the red carpet were celebrities including Grammy winner Taylor Swift, country star Carrie Underwood, pop legend Pink, plus rapper Machine Gun Kelly and actress Kerry Washington. Dove has not posted to her Instagram since the win. Her account is followed by over 48 million.
