The Hollywood actor made a special revelation about the Deadpool franchise with the festive season just around the corner.

A Christmas Themed 'Deadpool' Movie Could Be In The Works

During an interview with Big Issue, Reynolds revealed that he and the Deadpool writers came together to work on the possibility of a Deadpool Christmas movie.

“Four years ago Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and I wrote a Christmas movie starring Deadpool. But it got lost in the shuffle of Disney acquiring Fox and it never got made.”

He believes that someday this movie will be made, if not immediately. It’s clear that the day it releases, fans will flock together to see it.

The Next 'Deadpool' Movie Will Witness The Return Of Wolverine

It so happens that back in September, Reynolds surprised the audience by announcing that Hugh Jackman’s infamous character, Wolverine, will return to the screens in the next Deadpool movie.

The last time Jackman played Wolverine was five years ago, in 2017, in the movie Logan

Now, Reynolds did not announce it with a regular social media static post. He made an entire advert out of it and ensured to give exposure to his company, Aviation American Gin, in the video as well.

Ryan Reynolds Starrer ‘Spirited’ Is Here For The Audience

The Deadpool actor paired up with Will Ferrell and came together for Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol’s musical adaptation - Spirited

Reynolds revealed how he ensured the movie was done from the heart and not just using the brain.

“I wasn’t trying to be the best singer on the planet. I was trying to be the best singer I could possibly be. And that’s it. And that’s all I can do. I can’t really control much else.”

In fact, Hugh Jackman had the perfect advice for Reynolds before he started shooting for Spirited. The Wolverine actor told Ryan Reynolds to “enjoy it” and only then would the audience enjoy it!
