Shakira In Search Of Nanny For Her Sons Post-Gerard Pique Split

As Shakira plans her permanent move to the United States, the higher possibility is that her sons will have to be alone from time to time due to her work. However, the mom-of-two reportedly plans to get someone whom she can be absolutely confident in regarding taking care of her boys. According to the content creator, Jefferson Ferney, the Hips Don't Lie crooner will need a nanny in a few weeks' time pending her relocation. Ferney was the one who leaked the news on social media before going ahead to state the possible requirements.

As Marca reports, Shakira's rules are pretty much like other celebrities in that any person who will be in charge of her kids as a nanny must not have any form of affiliation or be close to the press. The individual will also need to sign an agreement of confidentiality.

Shakira is said to be willing to pay $2,400 as a monthly stipend, including travel expenses. The nanny will also be able to reside in her lavish Miami home located in the high-end area of North Bay Road Drive. Her sons, Milan and Sasha are 11 and 9 respectively, and they feature on their star mom's Instagram page from time to time.

Leading up to the confirmation of their breakup, the former power couple was in the news for weeks over speculations of their split. Presently, it is confirmed that they are done for good, and Pique has moved on with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia. However, it seems to be a different situation with Shakira. Since their split, the 45-year-old has mostly been seen with her preteen sons while paying attention to taking care of her ailing dad, William Mebarak.

Shakira and Pique were well on their way to becoming a power couple from the start and at the moment they met. The former lovers met back in 2010 on the set of her chart-topping World Cup song, Waka Waka (It's Time For Africa). Once speaking about the first encounter, the Beautiful Liar singer relayed that she never used to be a football fan, so she did not know who he was. However, she found him to be "kind of cute" when she watched the music video that also featured Pique.

The feeling was mutual as the latter was also smitten by her. They went social media official and by the following year, they had so many firsts, including appearing on the red carpet in 2021. Also in the same year, the couple announced the pregnancy of their first child together, and by 2014, they had another on the way. After 11 years together, they announced their separation on June 4, 2022.
