Lily-Rose Depp has broken her silence on the high-profile legal trial involving father Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. The model and actress technically spoke of why she will maintain silence as she makes headlines for being profiled by Elle. Speaking to the magazine, the willowy-limbed star opened up on her Pirates of the Caribbean star father - Depp has made major 2022 headlines for continuing to battle it out in court against former costar Amber Heard. Depp won his defamation case against the Aquaman star.

Opening Up On Big Trial
Of her A-Lister father's legal issues, Lily-Rose stated:
"When it's something that's so private and so personal that all of a sudden becomes not so personal ... "
She added: "I feel really entitled to my secret garden of thoughts. I also think that I'm not here to answer for anybody, and I feel like for a lot of my career, people have really wanted to define me by the men in my life, whether that's my family members or my boyfriends, whatever. I'm really ready to be defined for the things that I put out there."
Following in the footsteps of Vogue's 72 Questions and its beauty secrets series, Elle went for video mode as it interviewed Lily-Rose. The King star sat in an earthy-toned jumpsuit while speaking into the camera.
Depp Wins Against Heard
In an ugly and messy legal battle, Depp maintained that Amber had framed him as an abuser, this after the Texan native wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post. Amber spoke of being a victim of "domestic violence" - while she did not name any names, it was enough for Johnny to take her to court. Amber was sued for $50 million.
Thoughts On Internet Fame
Lily-Rose, who proves popular on Instagram and with French designer Chanel, also touched on fame and her presence online.
"The internet seems to care a lot about that kind of stuff. People are going to have preconceived ideas about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part. The internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who are casting you in things," she further revealed.
