It's the Kardashian-Jenner way to make a fashion statement regardless of the consequences, and Kylie is the latest sister to fall into this category! The reality TV star attended the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime Exhibition launch in Brooklyn wearing a Vintage Mugler dress.

Forget the restrictive figure-hugging silhouette, the Beauty Mogul determined to make her statement on the carpet, and she did! Cue in a gorgeous hair accessory and matching opera gloves, and you have your fashionista of the night.

Honoring Thierry Mugler

Jenner's dress was a black silky-satin fabric formed in an arty corseted bodice and mermaid skirt. The small fishtail train had feathers on the lower part (from her knee downwards) and the gloves' hem.

The outfit's star, however, was Jenner's headpiece, a futuristic diamond-encrusted crown with fringes and spikes edges. With a sparking headgear like that, all the mother of two needed was simple studded earrings and her black hair wrapped in a whole bun.

Modeling The Les Insectes Collection

During the show, Jenner changed into another arty outfit and restyled her hair in a retro half rolled-updo. She wore a skintight catsuit from the Mugler Archives, spring-summer 1997 couture collection 'Les Insectes.'

True to the collection, the outfit made a few months before her birth had an intricately webbed black suit like a spider and a silk-printed overcoat like a bug's exoskeleton.

Upon removing her coat, Jenner revealed her see-through case showing her black underwear and toned abs. She also changed her makeup to match the vibe, choosing a dark copper nude lipstick shade.

'It's Worth It'

According to Mugler, the museum would open to the public tomorrow, Nov. 18, 2022, until May 7, 2023. If you were wondering, no, Kylie Jenner wouldn't be on display, although that'll be an exciting surprise if it ever happens!

Manfred Thierry Mugler passed away earlier this year, leading the fashion world to mourn his loss. This exhibit is one of the many ways Casey Cadwallader, the Creative Director, keeps his vision and legacy alive. So, what if Jenner had to shuffle across the room in her vintage dress?

As she said,

"This is how we have to walk in this dress. It's worth it"

Learning From Her Big Sister

Shuffling in an outfit isn't strange to the Kardashian-Jenner clan as long as it means a fashion statement, and Kim knows the most about this! Let's take a quick look at the few times she made a case for skintight outfits regardless of discomfort this year!
