Tom Brady Has 'Zero' Regrets About Returning To Football Despite Divorce With Gisele Bündchen

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback Tom Brady has been on the news recently. It's not just one aspect of his life that made him headlines; his professional and personal life have been involved.

Tom Brady Opens Up About Returning To Football

It's expected that all athletes will know when they should retire. Everyone believed that to be the case for Tom Brady when he announced his retirement in January 2022.

However, 40-days later, the NFL Legend returned to the field as a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He took to social media to reveal that he belongs on the field and will make a comeback with the support from his teammates and family.

Ex-Wife Gisele Bündchen Was Not Happy About The Return

Since the time Bündchen and Brady have been together, she always knew that he wouldn't be around much, considering his practice and matches. However, she expected him to be around the house, helping with the children once he retired.

Unfortunately, it was a setback for how Gisele Bündchen envisioned their future when Tom Brady returned to the field.

This led to a fallout between the celebrity couple, and the duo officially confirmed their divorce in October 2022, sharing custody of their three children.

Tom Brady Talks About 'Regret' Over Un-Retiring

During a conference, a reporter asked Brady whether or not he regrets returning to the field, and his response is enough for the world to know that as much as divorce wasn't a part of his plan, football is his everything.

“Zero, no. Definitely not.”

Furthermore, he explained that his return was based on him wanting to compete more, and more importantly, his teammates being excited about the same.

“I returned because I felt like I wanted to compete and I spoke to the team about it and they were excited to have me back. I don’t really regret those types of things. So.. I think when I commit to it, I mean it and I do my best and try to give everything I can to this particular opportunity.”

Gisele Bündchen Purchased A Mansion Opposite To Tom Brady's

The couple went through a rather public divorce, but the ultimate goal was to ensure their children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian, remained the main focus. Of course, both of them had to deal with personal and professional issues, but there was no reconciling between them.

Bündchen had opened up from time to time about how she's raising the children almost by herself. In fact, she revealed Brady told her he would play only for 10 years and would be content when he won one Super Bowl.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's mansions are located on opposite sides of the creek. In fact, one could possibly swim from one mansion to the other.

Now, Tom Brady was aware of her plans to purchase a property opposite to his. Gisele did this to ensure hassle-free co-parenting and easy travels for the children between the two homes. Gisele Bündchen was looking at properties after Brady's 11-day break from football and finalized the deal during the 1st week of October.
