Kevin Bacon is a Golden Globe-winning actor, a versatile and talented musician, as well as a proverbial Hollywood icon, to boot. But there's one often-forgotten aspect of Kevin's many talents — the man knows how to dance.
As any Footloose fan will tell you, Kevin's got the moves. Sadly, it's been nearly four decades since we've seen them on full display. But now, thanks to a viral Tik Tok trend, Kevin and his daughter, Sosie Bacon, are making us look with their stellar dance choreography.
The song has been burning up the Billboard charts and making the rounds across the internet. It's become so popular that it's gone on to spawn its own TikTok dance trend, which has been replicated by countless A-list celebrities, athletes, and fellow social media influencers. Kevin Bacon and his daughter, Sosie, are now taking their turn.
Kevin also saw fit to sport an incredibly loud pair of Crocs for the video (I'm sure they're very comfortable, Kevin). His daughter Sosie, on the other hand, looks far less ostentatious and dons a pair of high-waisted denim jeans, complete with a retro KISS t-shirt, brown boots, and almost the identical pair of shades as her dear old dad.
The choreography of the father/daughter duo is top-notch and arguably one of the better additions to the viral TikTok trend. Every movement is on time and exudes an effortless sense of confidence and charisma. Kevin even saw fit to capture the video, "I'm just a man in his crocs, standing with his daughter @sosiebacon, making you look #MadeYouLook."
Kevin and Sosie's dance moves have also caught the attention of some of Hollywood's biggest players. Host of The Armchair Expert podcast, Dax Shepard, commented, "You move like a benevolent cobra on mali[sic]. It's transcendent."
The Footloose star's wife, Kyra Sedgwick, noticed the video of her husband and daughter swaying in time as she was scrolling through her Instagram feed. "OMG DEAD," she wrote.
