Leslie Jordan's death at 67 shook the entire world because he was one of the most active entertainers of the pandemic. The comedian brought smiles to everyone's homes during lockdown with his video, so his passing hit close to home for many people.

Last week, the reality TV show, The Masked Singer, paid tribute to the late comedian by sharing an episode featuring him on the all-star panel. The show filmed the episode in the summer and gave Entertainment Weekly an exclusive first look before airing it.

Jordan Guest Judges On 'The Masked Singer'

One of the best parts of the show is the guessing game when the judges suggest the masked singers' identities based on clues. Jordan cracked everyone up during that episode with hilarious guesses from Lil Nas X to Flava Flav.

"I seldom get invited back anywhere, so it's exciting!"

The Gopher was George Clinton, who is nothing like Jordan's suggested name. Unfortunately, his rendition of It's Your Thing by the Isley Brothers wasn't good enough to keep him in the show. Jordan couldn't contain his excitement at the guest judging and shared as much.

Fox Makes An In-Memoriam Tribute

Jordan filled in for Ken Jeong, who had Covid-19 then, and made the moment worth it. At the end of the episode, Fox aired an in-memoriam montage of the late comedian's best moments on the show.

The Leslie Jordan tribute was on the seventh episode of the eighth season. It started with him singing Let It Shine in an ice cream costume and ending with his unmasking while the judges, especially Nicole Scherzinger, told him, "We Love You."

Jordan's Untimely Death

Jordan died suddenly on October 24 in a car crash on his way from a medical emergency. The 67-year-old made his mark on the world thanks to his comedic roles in shows such as Will & Grace, Call Me Kat, and American Horror Story.

After fading briefly from the internet scene, he re-emerged and got a new generation of fans during the lockdown with his viral videos.

The World Misses A Bright Light

Although his mother warned him to live life quietly and hide his sexuality from the world for fear of being ridiculed, he chose to do the opposite. It's good that he didn't hide his light because we would have missed out on the cheerful and goofy personality he shared via his comedic strips and movies. It's a shame he passed away when he did because Jordan's revived fame brought him good tidings, including buying his first-ever home.
