Chris Hemsworth did not shy away from showing his rock-hard abs when he played Thor: God of Thunder. In fact, several fans went ga-ga over his physique, which truly captured the godly vibe.
However, coming to Avengers: Infinity War, Chris Hemsworth was ripped. His physique was unbelievable! But, when Avengers: Endgame was released, fans were excited to see Hemsworth ripped again but what a disappointment that was!
In the 2nd part of Avengers, Thor had gained an immense amount of weight. While fans were disappointed about not being able to witness the godly physique, it was fun to watch Thor letting himself go and eating anything he wanted!
Coming to Thor: Love And Thunder, Hemsworth was back in shape. The movie showed how Thor's character used a mixture of martial arts and other superhero moves to go from obese to beast.
The actor took to social media to show his fans and audience an unseen footage of Thor working out using combinations of martial arts moves to lose the weight.
It’s excellent to see how much coordination he had given that Chris Hemsworth was wearing a 40kg prosthetic bodysuit to portray ‘obese Thor’.
It’s well-known that the Hemsworth brothers are always being funny with each other. Even here, Luke Hemsworth commented: “You look way more coordinated than you normally do.”
Well, while fans do not know how coordinated Chris Hemsworth is, his brother’s comment surely had laughs brewing!
Of course, Chris Hemsworth did not actually gain weight. As mentioned, he wore a 40kg bodysuit.
While speaking to The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar, he revealed what it felt like to wear the bodysuit.
“It's a silicon sort of prosthetic suit with a zip at the back, and at any moment people would come up and rub my stomach. I know how my wife feels now when she was pregnant!”
Furthermore, Hemsworth enjoyed being able to do whatever he wanted with his character during the transformation.
Another time Chris Hemsworth showed an impeccable physique was when he was preparing for Hulk Hogan’s biopic, but the movie has not taken off in terms of production.
Hopefully, the movie will actually go through and fans can witness a muscular Chris Hemsworth with python biceps like Hulk Hogan!
