Usually, Craig always showed up on screen wearing a suit. However, this time he’s shifted to the ‘bad boy’ look, and is entertaining the fans in a whole new way.

In the new campaign for Belvedere Vodka, Craig is sporting a black jacket, sleeveless top, with visible tattoos and a chain while dancing his way through a luxurious hotel’s lobbies and other areas.

His impressive footwork has gotten the fans playing the replay button constantly and vibing to the music as well as the moves!

Director Taika Waititi Has A Special Message

Towards the end of the advert, Taika Waititi is seen giving advice to Craig - “be yourself.”

However, considering the last words spoken in the advert, it’s possible the message isn’t just for Daniel Craig but for everyone! Sort of the way to convey Belvedere Vodka’s message to the audience.

The video ends with a cheeky smile from Daniel Craig while taking a sip of vodka!

Daniel Craig’s Character James Bond Had A Special Cocktail Order

The character James Bond always orders a vodka martini and uses the classic phrase - “shaken, not stirred” when placing the order.

However, when Craig portrayed 007 on-screen for the first time in 2006 in Casino Royale, the usual order changed from a vodka martini to a Vesper Martini (a name he came up with).

“Three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet, shake it over ice, and then add a thin slice of lemon peel.”

The name ‘Vesper’ for the martini was inspired by the character in the movie.

Fast forward to Spectre in 2015, the martinis were served with olives instead of the usual lemon peel.

Fan Theory About Why James Bond Always Orders ‘Shaken, Not Stirred’

Usually, having a martini shaken is not recommended because it dilutes the vodka much more than a stirred martini. Next, the shaken martini has its ice spread out more evenly, making it a colder cocktail. On the other hand, a stirred martini has a stronger taste with every sip.

So, the question was: ‘why does James Bond order a weaker martini?’

This is when a fan puts forward the theory that a spy such as James Bond knows that his cocktail is weaker, yet chooses that. The reason being he wants his wits sharp while coming across as someone who might become disoriented due to alcohol.

This way he holds an advantage over his opponents who think he’s disoriented but he’s actually not, and is quick on his feet and thinking.
