Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady, is a household name in the industry. He has made innumerable strides in the game and has pushed the game forward with all his might.
Considering his schedule which includes training sessions, a rather public divorce with Gisele Bündchen, and other aspects, Brady usually does not have the healthiest sleeping routine.
Brady made an appearance on Buccaneers YouTube channel where he was answering fans' questions. One particular fan informed him that it was difficult to go to sleep without staring at the phone and if Brady had the same problem or any advice to resolve it.
To this, Brady revealed that he’s got too much going on, and he has the same problem of staring at his phone before going to sleep.
“I’m too damn busy. I’ve got too much s–t going on. We’re trying to ya know, get everything done during the day but you don’t get it done during the day. So, you know what, we all got to learn to deal with that. I wouldn’t tell my children that. I would tell them to put the iPads away and all that. But as a parent, do as I say and not as I do.”
On October 28th, the pair finalized their divorced and announced the same. It was quite a shock to their fans considering they’ve been together for 13 years, and have two children together, Benjamin and Vivian, while do-parenting Brady’s son Jack, whom he had with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
While neither of them officially confirmed it, it’s been said that Brady’s decision to return to football after his supposed retirement stirred up arguments between his ex-wife and himself. He returned to football after 40-days of announcing his retirement and his ex-wife felt he was never going to be around to raise the family.
Here’s what Tom Brady said about the situation:
“She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house, and then all of a sudden when the season ended, I'd be like, 'Great, let me get into all of my other business activities. Let me get into my football training,' and she's sitting there going, 'Well when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?' "
Currently, they’ve both turned their focus on how to find the right balance in co-parenting since the children are their number 1 priority.
Tom Brady’s new mansion, which is under construction, is located on Indian Creek Island.
Bündchen purchased a mansion worth $11.5 Million directly opposite Brady's mansion.
She was already looking at properties prior to the divorce, which indicates she anticipated her marriage ending.
However, the decision to live close to Tom Brady was to ensure it was easier for them to co-parent and for the children to travel back and forth without extreme hassle.
For the first time ever, the Buccaneers are nine weeks into the regular season but are below .500 being 4-5.
However, Brady revealed that he does not regret returning and he’s completely committed to the game and the success of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
