We all know Indeed. In fact, most of us have used it to either find a new job or post a job opening. And while it can be a great resource for job hunting, there are also a lot of shady companies and downright scams to weed through.

Unfortunately, you can do a lot of research and still get suckered into a horrible job through Indeed. A TikToker named Paul Blackledge (@paulblackledge) shared a clip of himself at his new career, prompting others to share their own Indeed red flags.

The TikTok Shows Paul Sitting Alone in an Empty Office

The clip, just 6 seconds long, shows Paul looking around and sighing. There seems to be no other workers around him, which may imply that all the other people in the office have either quit or been let go before he'd even started.

The TikTok has been viewed nearly a million times since Paul posted it in late October and has plenty of people relating to the sting of getting caught in a bad job through Indeed.

The Commenters Had a Lot To Share About Their Own Job Red Flags

A user explained that getting a job at the interview is a red flag.

For many users, one of the biggest red flags is showing up to an interview and getting hired on the spot. It might depend on the job, but it seems suspicious to hire somebody that quickly.

But Apparently, Some People Don't Just Get Hired at the Interview

More people shared interview-related red flags.

One user shared how they were hired without even going to an interview in the first place, which definitely sounds more than a little shady. Another user shared how they had an interview and got hired, but the call for the offer came suspiciously close to the end of the actual interview.

Many Were Just Incredibly Frustrated With How Difficult It Is To Find a Job These Days

One user complains about how they were training people on their first day, while another complains about how hard it is to find jobs on Indeed.

One user shared how, on their first day on the job, they were required to train four other people. Which makes no sense, considering they would've needed to be trained first. That's a telltale sign that the job wasn't worth doing.

Another user echoed what many people were thinking: trying to find a job on Indeed seems like a much more difficult task now than it ever used to be. What hope is there if we can't weed through the scams and the obvious bad places to work?
