The idea of being Henry Cavill's friend sounds like a dream come true.

However, it does come with some terms and conditions — just ask Millie Bobby Brown. The Stranger Things star has been friends with The Witcher actor since 2020, when they starred as brother and sister in Netflix's Enola Holmes.

But since there's a large age gap between the two actors (Cavill is 39, Brown is 18), it's only fitting that they have some ground rules for their friendship. Here's everything Millie has said about that.

This Isn't the First Time Millie Has Had a Friendship With an Older Male in Hollywood

Back in 2018, her comments went viral for revealing that she's close friends with singer Drake, who she says gives her guy advice. The pair first became friends when they met backstage at one of his concerts in Australia. Ever since then, they have become texting buddies.

"He's a great friend and a great role model," she told Access on the 2018 Emmys red carpet. "We just texted each other the other day," she said, "He was like, 'I miss you so much,' I was like, 'I miss you more.'"

But since Millie was 14 then, while Drake was 30, fans wasted no time calling out their friendship as inappropriate. This prompted Millie to take to Instagram to defend her friend.

"Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird...For real," she began in a post to Instagram stories. "I'm lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance."

"I'm very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U dont get to chose that for me. it's nice to have people understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in the world other than my friendships...jeez."

So far, it appears that Millie's friendship with Henry Cavill is a lot different — and healthier. In an interview with Deadline, she revealed that they've created a "real adult relationship" with each other, one where Henry sets personal boundaries.

"He has terms and conditions with me. I'm not allowed to ask about his personal life," she said. Whenever she would get too personal with the actor, he would put her in her place. "(He's) like, 'Millie, shut up. No.' And I'm like, 'Understood.'"

It's a Much More Mature Relationship Than the One She Has With Her 'Stranger Things' Co-Stars

"With the Stranger Things kids, it's different," she explained. "There's no boundaries because it's like we're all siblings…but with Henry, he's very strict with me, which I appreciate."

That doesn't mean that they can't joke around, though. Harry Bradbeer, the director of Enola Holmes 2, told Good Morning America that Millie and Henry really are like siblings.

"Millie and he had this very interesting, enjoyable dynamic where they're always poking at each other," he said. "And Millie tickles him up a little bit and surprises him. And he goes with it."
