In today’s edition of why it’s important to never question why a woman doesn’t have children , we’re bringing some pretty emotional revelations from actress and cultural Jennifer Aniston. While Jennifer has been a role model for childfree women everywhere, it seems that wasn’t always the Friends alum’s plan.
In fact, she recently revealed that she exhausted many avenues in an effort to have kids.

In her new (stunning) cover in “Allure” magazine, the 53-year-old shared how hard her fertility journey was in her 30s and 40s.
“I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,” she revealed.
“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it.”
“I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’”
“You just don’t think it,” she explained. “So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
Now that she’s accepted her child-free fate, the actress shared that she has no regrets about her life and the way things have worked out.
“I have zero regrets,” she revealed.
“I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
The Murder Mystery actress also went on to address the long-standing rumors that her previous marriage ended because she was unwilling to have children.
As fans will recall, Jen was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.
“[The] narrative that I was just selfish. I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child.”
“And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid.”
“It was absolute lies,” she shared. “I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”
I can’t imagine how difficult how difficult it would have been for her to read these lies and not be able to speak about it.
Now, she plans on taking the narrative into her own hands and plans on writing a book.
“I’m going to do that one day. I’m going to stop saying, ‘I can’t write.’ I’ve spent so many years protecting my story about IVF. I’m so protective of these parts because I feel like there’s so little that I get to keep to myself,” she admitted. “The world creates narratives that aren’t true, so I might as well tell the truth. I feel like I’m coming out of hibernation.”
For fans wondering if the Greek goddess will ever say “I do” again, Jen isn’t putting any pressure on it.
“Never say never, but I don’t have any interest. I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support,'” she admitted.
“It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, ‘That was a tough day.'”
Well, no matter what happens in Jen’s future, what we know is that she always has been, and always will be, Fabulous, with a capital F!
