You thought the Power Rangers were pure fiction? Think again.

Restaurant staff at NōKA Ramen in Oakland, California, wear Power Ranger costumes since they serve a cocktail called “The Noka Rangers."

They got to be real-life superheroes when they came to a woman's rescue after a man was chasing her. This story is so crazy, you have to see it to believe it.

The iconic and chaotic ordeal was captured in a Twitter thread by user, @ppirapokin.

They began by writing that "the craziest thing just happened at dinner. I’m at a ramen shop owned by Thai people in Oakland dressed as power rangers."

That's not even the craziest part.

"When a woman comes rushing in saying she wasn’t safe — and a man came running in after her and puts her in a chokehold.”

Surprisingly, this wasn't some weird form of dinner theatre.

After the woman expressed that she wasn't safe, the Power Rangers AKA restaurant staff swung into action.

"The black power ranger (the manager with a kickass bob) and the yellow ranger, told the man to leave," the thread went on.

When the man dared to swing at them, all of the Rangers yelled, ‘Huey!'”

"'Huey' is the Thai expression of the Cantonese 'Waaah,' the Korean 'Yaaa' and the English, 'The expletive]?'" the Twitter user explained. They also added that the woman was told to hide in the kitchen.

She claimed that the man was being racist.

"The man starts calling everyone Asian slurs & if Bruce Lee was still alive he’d kick everyone’s asses & beelines for the kitchen," the user tweeted. "YellowRanger grabs him by the collar to drag him out of the restaurant."

The craziness continued: "A white guy yells: 'Do you want to go to jail?'"

The whole scene was chaos, as the user explained that they were trying to call the cops while the fellow patrons were shaking and crying. The Pink Power Ranger (hostess) told people that their food was free.

"The man goes outside, starts picking up chairs, baby seats & salt + pepper shakers to throw at the windows," they continued.

"I, for some reason, start wolfing down my ramen," they added. Stress eating is a real thing, people!

The man then left and came back with a friend to continue fighting the Power Rangers.

In the end, the police finally showed up and ended the madness. The Green Power Ranger explained that they were beta-testing their costumes that night.

The Twitter user summed up the chaos with this message:

"There’s no sense, moral or meaning to this story, except that I can’t believe power rangers are actually Thai? I’m grateful no guns were involved. And the food at Noka Ramen was excellent."

After their tweet went viral, NōKA Ramen has since posted a snap of their Power Rangers.

“Our NōKA Rangers were real life heroes last night when an incident occurred," they wrote. "Like our heroic namesakes, it’s not just the powers and costumes that give us strength. It’s who and what we are inside that empowers us."

People were blown away by the story.

"You just witnessed a real life power rangers episode," one user wrote.

"I am immediately adding that place to my "want to visit" list on Google Maps," added another. We second that!
