Viewers of the hit TLC reality series 90 Day Fiancé will not be surprised to learn that Yve Arellano has filed for divorce from her husband Mohamed Abdelhamed amidst a cheating and domestic abuse scandal.

It was revealed on the reunion of 90 Day Fiancé this past summer that Mohamed had been exchanging inappropriate texts with women after saying "I do" to the single mom.

The "90 Day Fiancé" world is twisted and complicated and beautiful and dramatic and iconic and above all else — addictive.

It all started with the OG 90 Day Fiancé series back in 2014 and has since spawned several spinoffs including 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, 90 Day: The Single Life, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Today, we're going to be talking about a couple from the latest season of the OG iteration.

Yve Arellano, 48, and Mohamed Abdelhamed, 25, appeared on the 9th season of 90 Day Fiancé which aired from April to August of this past year.

Fans of the show watched as Yve and Mohamed clashed both culturally and religiously as they tried to make their long-distance romance translate in America.

The pair faced challenges but ultimately said "I do" during the show's finale.

During the reunion special, however, fans were shocked to learn that the newlywed Mohamed had been flirting with women online.

Now, after less than 10 months of marriage, Yve is filing for divorce.

The news of the pair's split comes a month after Mohamed accused his now estranged wife of domestic abuse.

According to a police report obtained by ET, Yve was charged with battery and assault against a household member by the Albuquerque Police Department, which stemmed from an alleged altercation with her soon-to-be ex.

Yve's reps have denied all allegations of abuse.

"What Mohamed did is he created these false accusations so that just in case Yve wasn't going to stick around he would have a backup plan which was the U-Visa. That way, he would stay in the U.S. and not get deported," a rep for Dominton Talent House, which represents Yve, told ET.

"There is no proof of Mohamed’s domestic violence allegations against Yve. From my understanding, there is footage from Yve’s home that night, and there isn't really anything that came of it. It’s just a really strange scenario."

Now, after several months of drama, the single mom is ready to call it quits once and for all and filed for divorce on Thursday in Albuquerque, New Mexico
