Amidst a lovely anniversary celebration, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has called out someone who thought her marriage with Freddie Prinze Jr. wasn't going to last.

In 2001, Howard Stern told Prinze that he believed their marriage would be over in 10 years' time, even wagering money on it. Now that it's well past his predicted end date, Gellar is looking to collect.

Sarah Michelle Gellar celebrated quite the anniversary the other day.

She's been married to her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., for 20 years now! That's an incredible achievement that the two must be elated about.

However, among the love in the air was a bit of resentment towards...Howard Stern?

That's right, Gellar is still holding a grudge for something Stern said two decades ago.

During an interview with Prinze in 2001, Stern asked, "So, you will marry Sarah Michelle Gellar even though you know that it won’t last?"

Prinze confidently replied, "Oh, absolutely it will last!"

Stern adds, "[...] it's not gonna work for you."

He then decides to make a written bet with the actor. "In about 10 years, you’re gonna hunt me down and go, 'Howard, I owe you money.'"

The two talk about wagering a million dollars. Prinze agrees to the bet as Stern says, "See, for a million, I’d stay married."

It's well past the time to collect.

Gellar posted screenshots from that interview to her Instagram story, tagging Stern and asking, "What do you think?!?"

She then posted another screenshot stating, "I think you owe us."

Prinze found this pretty funny.

He shared her story to his own, adding the caption, "She will not forget," with two laughing-crying emojis.

This isn't the first time Prinze has recalled this bet either, having brought it up in a past interview with AOL Build.

He found it funny then, too.

“I did The Howard Stern Show when I was a young buck, and he was cracking jokes that, you know, me and Sarah were just sleeping together and we’d break up in a few years, and he bet me a million dollars that we would break up [...],” he explained.

He then pointed directly into the camera and said, "You have not paid that bet, young man."
