Kevin Bacon had a huge run of hits in the '80s and '90s — Footloose, Tremors, Flatliners, JFK, A Few Good Men, Murder In The First, and Apollo 13 were all within 11 years of each other! That's a huge span, and obviously doesn't even include everything he did in there.

But the man who seemed to be separated from us by less than six degrees hasn't been quite the mainstay of the silver screen lately. He still works! Just not quite on the same level as we got used to.

Good news for Bacon-stans, though — he's also on TikTok, where he's quietly carved out a thoroughly wholesome presence as a silver fox.

Yes, the real Kevin Bacon, not some impostor Kevin Fake-on, is on TikTok, and it's glorious.

Social media was supposed to be this amazing way for celebs to connect with their fans, but few use it to the same degree as Kevin Bacon.

On TikTok, Bacon gives fans an inside look at how both normal and not normal his life is with his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, and occasionally their daughter Sosie as well.

Do you want to see Kevin Bacon sing Backstreet Boys to goats? Of course you do.

In fact, singing to the goats appears to be one of Bacon's favorite things to do. It's a regular feature on his TikTok, something that Sosie will join in on as well — and sometimes he'll sing to the alpacas as well.

Want to know how he keeps his good looks up?

Well, he doesn't quite get into the details — but we know there's a routine, because of course there's a routine. A man has to take care of himself, right?

And then there's the little things in his life with Kyra.

I mean, if some part of you doesn't melt at the fact that he'll pre-slice bananas for her breakfast using a needle and thread so they don't go brown on her, is your heart even beating right now?

Bacon family recipes are a popular staple of his TikToks, too.

The power pancakes above are a good start for Bacon cuisine — he shares plenty of his creations, including a (mostly) vegan bolognese, popcorn from his wok, and salmon pizza.

Kevin Bacon seems to just genuinely want his fans to have as much fun as he does.

As when he took us all on a trip to see if he could track down a poster that was apparently still up from the original run of his 1986 film, Quicksilver. That was fun!

But nothing quite underscores his joy at connecting with his fans like this.

Yep, he and Kyra decided to re-visit Footloose, just for fun, even though Kevin is in his 60s now. Because why shouldn't the star of the movie still enjoy it a few decades later!

And so that's all why Kevin Bacon can add a new title to his lengthy resume: Himbo of the Week.

EJ Dickson and Liz Garber Paul of the podcast Don't Let This Flop named Bacon their Himbo of the Week, arguing he was one of the "least insufferable" stars on TikTok, and "arguably one of the all-time greatest himbos on the platform."

Himbo might not be the greatest of titles, but it's hard to argue that Kevin Bacon deserves some kind of recognition regardless.

"He has never been canceled for saying something offensive about BLM or reproductive rights or Beyoncé, and he has been in a stable relationship with actor Kyra Sedgwick for the past 34 years, an anomaly in Hollywood," Dickson wrote in bestowing Bacon with the title. "In videos, he regularly dons tight T-shirts and sexy Stanley Tucci glasses and he is a gift to us all."

It's true, Kevin Bacon's TikToks aren't all that hard-hitting.

But they don't have to be. They're just good, wholesome fun and a glimpse into a big star's normal-yet-not-so-normal life at home.
