Is there a skill that you wish you've always had? For me, it's sewing. When I see people make something from scratch, I'm in awe. And it's even better when they're able to transform an old piece of clothing and give it a new lease on life.

That's exactly what this one mom does, and you'll be truly wowed when you see her incredible makeovers. I'm going to share a few of them with you in hopes that they will inspire you. Take a look at these.

Sarah Tyau is a mom of three.

And a self-proclaimed "Refashion Designer." What she is best at is transforming old clothes and making them into cute outfits for her entire family. That's a skill I would like to have, ha, ha. I've got to confess I can't sew to save my life.

So let's look at some of her most beautiful transformations.

Like this white oversized dress. It wasn't doing much for her, eh? But now that it's fitted, it looks much better, no? I think it's cute as heck. In fact, I would totally wear it on a nice hot summer day like today.

How about this frock?

Okay, I've bought something like this before. But even though it was fitted, it didn't look as good as it looks on Sarah here. This dress is absolutely adorable. Am I right? I love what she did to it. And the colors suit her so well, too.

OMG, this dress!

Check out how she transformed two men's shirts into the cutest little dress. The woman has mad sewing skills. I've been looking for a shirt dress like this, but I haven't found anything as adorable as what Sarah made. Can she do one for me, hee-hee?

Get a load of this cute summer dress:

I wasn't a fan of how it looked like before, but I absolutely love it now. I'm especially fond of this embroidery. It definitely elevates the look of this dress, no? What a great idea, huh? I admit I would have never thought of that. But now that I see it, it works.

Who wants a new jumpsuit?

Oh, yeah! That's right. What did I tell you? Isn't it adorable? This lady makes a transformation like this look easy. If only I were able to do that. I would save so much money on buying new clothes, ha, ha. I'm really envious of her amazing sewing skills.

How about this dye job?

Oh my goodness! I can't believe she managed to make a cool dress out of this old frock. That's pretty incredible, no? She dyed the original dress and removed the collar to make it look more modern. Then she made the bodice narrower to fit her body. And she even made pockets with the extra fabric. Yay!

Who doesn't love a cute romper?

Um, hello! If this isn't adorable, I don't know what is, hee-hee. I don't know about you, but I love polka-dots. So the fact that Sarah transformed this boring dress into this cute romper is pretty amazing to me. I can see myself wearing this on the beach.

Here she made the cutest dress for her daughter.

Awe, this is the sweetest, no? I bet her daughter really loved this outfit. If you swipe through the pictures, you can see how she transformed this men's shirt into the most adorable girl's dress. I love her before-and-after shots.

Wow, look at this wedding dress.

Several people asked Sarah if she ever refashioned a wedding dress, and she just had to share this transformation here. This one was very traditional and Sarah turned it into more of a cocktail dress. I don't know about you, but I love it.

How about this pretty number?

Many times I'm looking for a dress that would be appropriate for an occasion, and guess what? I come up empty-handed. I guess that's not a problem for Sarah, hee-hee. All she has to do is find an old number that she can give a new lease on life, and voilà! Good as new.

Here's a cool skirt transformation for you.

Sarah found an old skirt she wasn't fond of anymore, so she decided to make it over so her daughter could have a new outfit. Say hello to this pinafore dress. Oh my! I have to say I absolutely adore it. Isn't it the cutest thing ever? I thought so.

What do you think of this outfit?

This dress was definitely way too big for Sarah, and the shape didn't flatter her at all. But instead of just giving up on it, she put her skills to work. And now she owns this little number here. OMG! Isn't it absolutely beautiful? I'm in love.

Ha, ha, I can't get over Sarah's face in the before picture, lol. I guess she wasn't really into it, eh? But the way she made it over is truly spectacular. I'm digging those cute sleeves here. Aren't they so adorable?

Check out this shirt makeover here.

I'll admit I wasn't a fan of these puffy sleeves, so they definitely had to go. And now this top is super cute, no? I didn't think the bow was going to work, but surprisingly it does. It really does make the outfit stand out.

How do you turn a coat into a dress?

That's how. Oh wow! Even though I like both outfits, I think this dress is really something. I would love to wear it. How about you? I can see it paired with leggings during the colder months.

Check out this suit transformation.

Honestly, this suit wasn't doing much for me. It was way too big and loose. And judging by what Sarah did to it, she felt the same way too. I would totally wear this dress to the office if I still had to go.

Let's go from pants to a dress.

Even though I liked the pattern of these pants, I much prefer them as a dress. What do you think of this transformation here? Do you like the before or the after more, huh? As a dress, this outfit stands out more.

What did I tell you?

Isn't this lady super talented? I wish I had sewing skills like her. It seems that she can take any ordinary outfit and totally transform it. I'm pretty blown away with all her makeovers here. Which one is your favorite? I love the wedding dress and the last one where she made the pants into a dress. That's a skill I would like to have.
