The photos quickly went viral as fans praised the film's accuracy to the "real" Barbie and Ken.
Both Robbie and Gosling laced up their electric yellow skates and clipped on their fanny packs to get into their characters for a rollerskating scene filmed in California.

The resemblance to the real Barbie is uncanny.
Fans on Twitter quickly pointed out that the costumes seem to have drawn inspiration from 1994's Hot Skatin' Barbie doll. Like Barbie in the movie, this Barbie had some wild neon-printed leggings and highlighter-yellow roller skates. Ah, to go back to the '90s.
