Now, Remi is going viral on a global scale after she was turned away from a horseback riding excursion because of her weight.
Kids today have to deal with insane pressures and beauty standards on social media, but at least there are people like Remi who are trying to break the mold.
Remi originally went viral in 2020 for her realistic clothing hauls that showed just how ridiculous store sizing is for a curvy woman!
Last week, the 27-year-old posted a TikTok at Deep Hallow Ranch in Montauk, New York after she had been told she was not allowed to ride a horse due to her weight.
"I've rode horses before and have never had this issue. Please adverise this on your signs for the future," she captioned the video.
A teenager, who was later confirmed to be an employee of the ranch, replied in a video to Remi saying: "When you're not a fat [expletive], you can ride at Deep Hallow Ranch."
In response to the video, Deep Hallow Ranch shared the following statement: "It has come to our attention that a TikTok video was posted regarding the ranch and a teenage employee posted a response that in no way represents nor is aligned with the views that the owners of the ranch hold."
What a horrible and humiliating process for Remi! No one deserves to be humiliated like that, especially not someone as kind as her!
