Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is no stranger to the spotlight. Having been hounded by tabloids in the same era as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, HRH knows a thing or two about dealing with the media.

While she is always poised and polite, Kate recently showed how truly humble she is after a heartwarming interaction with a fan while visiting Cardiff Castle earlier this month.

It's easy to forget that, just like her husband, fans have watched Kate Middleton grow up.

Sure, it began when she was a student at St. Andrews University, but what adult doesn't consider their 18-year-old selves a child?

Kate was hounded by paparazzi amidst her romance with Prince William right from the start.

In 2010, she became an official part of the Royal family when she wed her longtime love, Prince Wills.

In the years following their nuptials, Kate has welcomed three beautiful children — Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

Event after event Kate manages to connect with the public and gain the trust of Royal admirers everywhere.

Recently, the Duchess was caught off guard when a sweet fan complimented her and assured her she will make an amazing Princess of Wales.

"You're going to be a brilliant Princess of Wales," the woman said while shaking Kate's hand.

Kate replied, seemingly very touched: "Oh, that's very kind." She then gestured toward her husband, Prince William, and added: "I'm in good hands."

The moment was captured by a fan who was at Cardiff castle.

The user who posted the video, @Hellen3030, spoke with "People" about the sweet exchange.

"The Cambridges are humble and a lovely family. I flew last minute from Miami to attend the Platinum Jubilee and decided to go to Cardiff the day before," they said.

"I met wonderful people from all over the world wanting to meet them. We had no idea they were bringing Prince George and Princess Charlotte until later on," @Hellen3030 added.

"Once we met the Cambridges, we were all mesmerized by them. I missed my train back to London and arrived late to the Platinum Party at the Palace, but it was all worth it!"

What a lovely moment!
