One of the greatest things in life is going out and grabbing a cup of coffee or a specialty drink, even if it means that we spend a bit more than we want to. Starbucks is one of the main coffee chains that make specialty coffee beverages that we cannot get enough of. From cold brews to blended drinks, they seem to always get the recipe right.

One of our favorite drinks that Starbucks makes is frappuccinos.

Frappuccinos are Starbucks' blended drinks with ice, coffee, and some sort of flavored syrup and whipped cream. While it has caffeine and can boost you up like a coffee can, it's also like a milkshake and dessert that can give you a whole meal in a cup.

Many of the current frappuccinos on the market are sweet flavors and give you the feeling that you're having dessert.

Many frappuccinos on the market are desserts like vanilla bean, cookies, or even chocolate and mocha. The frappuccinos are made with blended coffee and syrups to match, topped with whipped cream, and then some sort of syrup—like caramel or mocha syrups on top.

Starbucks Japan has just released a new line of frappuccinos that sound absolutely blissful.

On April 13th, Starbucks Japan released two new frappuccinos: the Bananana Banana Frappuccino and the Chocolate Banana Frappuccino. The drinks are made with the base of a banana, so you are technically getting a serving of fruit for the day!

The Bananana Banana Frappuccino has a solid banana base.

The Bananana Banana Frappuccino is more of a banana and vanilla base. The banana is blended in with a blonde roast and then topped with whipped cream and specialty sugar pieces. The sugar pieces are shaped like bananas—how adorable!

The Chocolate Banana Frappuccino is based on chocolate-banana desserts.

Banana may not be the first thing you think of when you think about coffee, but Japan's Starbucks has been really going for it when it comes to bananas. In 2021, Starbucks Japan launched a Banana Milk Almond Frappuccino—which sounded delicious.

The drink proved to be a success because they came back with two flavors of banana drinks. The original banana frappuccino was made with banana pulp at the bottom and banana chips fried in coconut oil on top of an almond milk whip.

Many who have gotten the drink say that it's amazing.

Some who live in Japan already got the Bananana Banana Frappuccino and say that it is delicious. Those who tried it say that it tastes like real bananas—which is a promising review.

Others said the Chocolate Banana Frappuccino was the way to go.

Others said the regular banana one was a "bit bland," and that the Chocolate Banana Frappuccino is the way to go. Many said the chocolate sauce adds a nice pairing with the banana—it totally tastes like an ice cream sundae.

Starbucks Japan really knows what they're doing.
