Today is a very important day for fans of the Royal family. Birthdays are always a big deal, but when you're the Queen of England it's kind of the biggest deal in the commonwealth. Not only is Queen Elizabeth II is the longing reigning monarch in herstory but she's also a big lover of animals — dogs and ponies to be specfific.
Now, to celebrate Her Majesty's 96th birthday, the Windsor House released a new, totally amazing photo.
I don't know about you all, but I'm loving this new trend of Royals releasing much more "natural" photos of themselves — they feel so much more authentic.
"Taken last month in the grounds of Windsor Castle, The Queen is pictured with two of her fell ponies, Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale," the caption read.
I will say that my favorite has to be this sweet photograph of a young Lilibet — just look how sweet she is!
I hope the Queen is enjoying her birthday and doing whatever she wants, as she deserves!
