There are few things I love more in this world than a handsome man who loves his wife. Not his wife that's a Instagram influencer or a Sports Illustrated cover girl, but a man who loves his real, down-to-earth, beautiful wife — you know, the just like us "normal" women.

One of the men who do that the best is stud and Hollywood heavy-hitter Hugh Jackman, who never fails to make us swoon with his declarations of love to his wife.

Hugh Jackman and his wife Deb first met back in 1995 on the set of the Australian TV series, "Correlli."

“Deb, she was a big star. I get picked up, and Deb is in the front seat of the car. I’ll never forget,” he recalled to People.

“She took off her seatbelt and she turned around and put out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, ‘Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.’ I remember thinking, ‘I like this girl,'” he said.

Despite Hugh having seemingly instant feelings for Deb, he wasn't sure if the blonde bombshell would ever feel the same.

Thankfully, that was all cleared up after he invited her and some friends over for dinner at his place.

That night, Hugh came clean about his feelings toward the actress after she accused him of "ignoring" her.

To his most pleasant surprise, Deb told him she felt the same.

"She goes, 'Oh? Because I've got a crush on you too.' I never in a million years thought she reciprocated," he recalled on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

After four months of dating, the pair got engaged and were married the following year.

However, the wedding almost didn't happen as Deb tried to break up with the actor after three weeks of dating.

Obviously, they worked it out.

Another admirable thing about this duo is their honesty when it comes to their journey with IVF.

"Until you go through it, you realize [infertility is] not talked about a lot.… And it [was] a difficult time," Hugh told Katie Couric of his wife's journey with infertility after trying to have children in her forties.

Sadly, the pair's long battle resulted in two miscarriages while undergoing IVF.

The emotional and physical toll this took on the couple led them to adoption. They adopted a boy and a girl, Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot. According to Hugh, adoption was always on the table for them.

They also knew it was important to reach out to children that were the most overlooked by potential parents.

“Our motivation behind adopting was, ‘Where is the need?’ ” the Les Mis star told People back in 2017.

“And we just knew from talking with people in that space, when we were looking around, that the biggest need is in mixed-race kids."

“I believe in life and I want to tell my kids that your personality is interesting, it in some way very much defines you, the color of your skin, whether you’re a male, whether you’re a female, but that’s not who you really are,” he continued. “What really defines you is beneath all that.”

Though he keeps his personal life private, it's no secret the actor is an incredibly proud father.

Despite all the hardships, this pair has proven time and time again that true love really does exist — even in Hollywood!

Now, the actor is giving his wife a sweet tribute to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary, like he always does.

He's just such a sweetie!

"Today I celebrate 26 years of marriage to my extraordinary wife," Hugh said alongside a selfie of the pair at a beach.

"Every single day is filled with so much laughter, joy and backgammon! Deb you light up my life. I love you with all my heart!" he concluded.
