What would you do if you came home from a night out at the bar and had to explain to your partner why you were covered in unexplained lipstick?

That's the predicament a few men found themselves in after being accosted by a 'kissing bandit' at a crowded bar.

Oh, did we mention the whole thing was captured on camera by a TikToker?

It's hard to stay on your toes at a bar.

Aside from the inebriating effects of what you're likely drinking, bars are crowded, confusing, disorienting places. In the midst of the noise and the crowd, it's easy to miss things.

This woman was planting kisses on unsuspecting men.

You can see it a few times in the video. This still shows the first part of her plan. She finds a guy with a bright shirt that will display lipstick, sneaks up behind him, and looks around to make sure no one notices.

She plants a kiss.

She then plants a kiss on the guy's back. None of the guys who she kissed seemed to notice, which makes sense. It's normal to feel people jostling behind you when you're at a busy club.

She makes her escape.

Her plan complete, having left a big red lipstick mark on the shirt of another unsuspecting guy, she flashes a wide Cheshire Cat grin and moves on to her next target.

The lipstick smudges are pretty obvious.

This screengrab kind of sums up the whole video: the lipstick bandit is fiendishly happy with what she's pulled off, and the guy who was victimized by her lipstick attack is none the wiser.

It's kind of a weird prank, no?

Theoretically, being covered in lipstick is a bad look. But when the lipstick is on your lower shoulderblade, it comes off a bit weird. I mean, if you were making out, that's a place that's unlikely to get kissed.

Commenters were not having it.

While a few thought it was just harmless fun, others pointed out a clear double standard: while this might be borderline bad behavior for a woman, it would be objectively bad behavior for a man.

That said, I don't think this prank is actually going to get any of these guys in trouble with their partners. But, you never know.

Here's the full video.

You can check out the full thing here. It's a manic 20 seconds or so that shows the kissing bandit's entire method of attack.

Next time you're at a bar, watch your back. And maybe wear a dark shirt.
