Look, if we've learned anything this past year, it's that HM Queen Elizabeth II has not lost her signature sense of humor. While I always knew Her Majesty was cheeky, I didn't realize just how funny she was until her two cake-cutting videos went viral over the past 12 months. Do you realize how truly, deeply funny you have to be to make cutting a cake go viral?

Now, Daniel Craig is confirming this theory by sharing his own hilarious story involving Her Majesty.

During a recent appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" the "James Bond" actor recalled working with The Queen back in 2012.

Of course, he is referring to the now-iconic Olympic opening ceremony skit he did with HM.

It was a moment that will forever go down in history for fans of the monarchy, and fans of the famous film franchise.

Every time I watch the Olympic opening ceremonies now, it's always great, but it's never The Queen and James Bond, great.

Does that make sense?

Now, 10 years later, fans are finally getting an insight into what it was like working with Her Majesty.

Stephen Colbert took no time beating around the bush with Daniel, asking: "I understand that you may not be able to answer this question, but I'm gonna ask anyway: What's she like in private?"

"Very funny. Wants to crack a joke, and cracked a joke about me," the "James Bond" actor recalled.

"We're having our photographs taken and she just went, 'Oh no, he's the one that doesn't smile.' Fair enough!" To make it even better, Daniel said her corgis were lovely and he was "rolling around on the floor" with them that day.

Now that sounds like a perfect day, doesn't it?
