Although a lot about family dynamics have changed over the past few decades, it's still not uncommon to see households where wives and mothers handle the lion's share of cooking duties.

And we can often find that among the homes where this holds true, the women who do this sort of work get taken for granted by their husbands and partners. And while some of these men are both entitled and picky, others show little they respect the work their spouses put into their meals when they don't get their way.

In one case, there was even a guy who secretly sold the lunches his wife made for him and pocketed the profits.

But while the man we're about to hear from didn't get quite that diabolical, he nonetheless found a way to get both his wife and the internet mad at him.

After explaining that his wife runs a website dedicated to food and recipes, he shared that he's tired of waiting for her to photograph each meal.

As he expressed in a Reddit post, it takes her several minutes to take these photos because she takes care to set the scene so each meal can achieve the right aesthetic on Instagram.

And while he has stewed for a long time over this practice, he decided he was fed up after his wife spent hours cooking a feast for one of these projects.

While she went upstairs to get a camera, he dug into every dish she had made and took the portions he wanted.

And when she discovered that he had wrecked the pristine look the feasts had before she left the room, she blew up to the point of nearly crying and accused him of trying to sabotage her success.

In response, he said, "Oh please enough with those conspiracy theories, I'm just hungry and couldn't wait til she got the perfect shot."

This led to an argument that made her leave the room crying. After the man finished eating, she told him she wouldn't cook for him anymore as the food was better off in the trash than given to "an ungrateful, obnoxious jerk."

In the man's words, "She texted me the word 'jerk' about 15 times til I turned my phone off."

But when the man reached out to Reddit, he was told that this was exactly the reaction he should have expected for knowingly ruining hours of work for his wife.

As one user put it, "Sounds like this is her job or at minimum an important hobby. Keep a Lunchable and a juice box in the fridge for when you need to act like a child."

Another user told him that if it was so impossible to wait a few minutes after his wife cooks, he should start making his own food.

In their words, "You did do it to sabotage her since you KNEW that she hadn’t taken any photos yet. Apologize to your wife."
