Tori Spelling is one of the most recognizable actresses from the '90s. It's hard to imagine Beverly Hills, 90210 without her. In the years that followed her breakout success, Tori has become a hardworking entrepreneur and mother to her five children.

Now, the 48-year-old is opening up about her decision to get her breast implants removed after her daughter asked her to.

Plastic surgery is becoming more and more common, and not just with celebrities.

It might sound crazy, but it's true. Due to social media, people (but especially young women) are constantly being faced with pictures or ads that are telling them how they should look instead of teaching them to just love themselves as they are.

You know the Kardashians, right?

Well, they're blamed a LOT for giving people unrealistic expectations about how their body should look. People have been asking them for years to open up about the supposed work they get done, as most find it impossible to believe that they achieved it simply through eating well and working out.

Whether they do or not, it looks like we will ultimately never know.

But there are many celebrities who are pretty outspoken about the work they get done. One of those celebs is Tori Spelling, who is opening up about her own experience.

Tori, like many young women in Hollywood, underwent breast augmentation when she was in her twenties.

Speaking with E! News, the actress explained: "I got them when I was really young. And I didn't know that at a certain point they would have an expiration."

It is recommended that women replace their implants if they're seeing deterioration after 10 to 20 years.

A lot of people, including the women who get implants, might not even know that.

In 2011, the FDA put out an advisory stating "the longer a woman has silicone gel-filled breast implants, the more likely she is to experience local complications."

This advisory made a lot of women decide to replace their implants or get them removed completely.

After going back and forth on the decision for years, Tori finally decided to get them removed once and for all.

She explained that her 13-year-old daughter Stella helped her make the decision.

"It really hit home for me when my daughter came to me and she's like, 'Mom, I'm concerned. You have put this off. You told me for years now that you need to get your boobs redone.'"

"So when [Stella] said, 'Are you getting it done?' I was like, you know what, why am I not getting it done? Because my main goal, my kids are my everything.

"So this year coming up, scheduling that surgery, getting healthy - that is taking the forefront. Because it's OK to put yourself first. In the end, it is for them, anyway," she explained to the news outlet.

That's such awesome news. Way to go Stella, and Tori!
