There is no denying that I will always love Dolly Parton. Well, not just to me, but everyone on God's green earth. The country superstar has been dazzling lovers of good music for over 5 decades. Do you know who loves good music? Everyone.

Do you know who else claims to love good music? The people in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which is why it's shocking to learn Ms. Parton has not been inducted yet.

It was announced on Wednesday that Dolly Parton, A Tribe Called Quest, and Duran Duran, among others, are nominees for the class of 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This year is the first time Dolly has been even nominated for the spot, with A Tribe Called Quest, Lionel Richie, Beck, and Eminem joining her with their first-time nomination.

In case you're unfamiliar with the process, more than 1,000 artists, music historians, and industry pros vote on the nominees.

The results for the class of 2022 will be released in May.

Now, call me crazy, but it feels criminal to me that Dolly wasn't even considered before this.

As we all know, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame isn't just reserved for the rock genre, with last year's inductees including legendary rapper Jay Z and pop culture icon Tina Turner.

We're wishing all these industry veterans, especially Ms. Parton, all the best of luck!
