It's hard to believe this truly unbelievable season of Sister Wives is finally winding down. On Sunday night, fans of the hit TLC series tuned in for the first part of three of the show's tell-all reunion.

Of course, there was a lot of drama, a lot of emotions, and a lot of hair, and of course, Kody found a way to cause a stir on social media.

Part one of the three-part tell-all gave fans a lot of the answers they've been waiting for.

With two more parts to go, it's safe to say I've canceled all my Sunday night plans for the next few weeks — I've got to make sure I've got my wine, my takeout Chinese food, and my hair mousse ON HAND!

During the special, Meri revealed it's been "about a decade" since she and Kody had been physically intimate.

This contradicts what fans have believed for some time, which is that the couple began to fall apart after Meri was caught having an emotional affair online.

"During an emotional and vulnerable time earlier this year, I began speaking with someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were," Meri revealed back in 2015.

During the reunion, the pair addressed the massive elephant in the room in regards to their relationship, or rather, their complete lack of relationship.

As viewers may recall, Meri told cameras during this season of Sister Wives: "Am I a sister wife when I don't have a husband?"

After revealing the last time they had sex, Kody confirmed he was no longer interested in having any sort of physical relationship with Meri.

"I'm not ever going to be in a conjugal relationship with her," Kody said. "Because I'm not going to go through that emotional torture ever again."

"... it took a lot of counseling for me to finally go, 'Meri, I just don't see us back together," he said, as per The Sun.

However, it's clear Meri is still not giving up.

She expressed still having "hope" for her marriage, saying that she's "still committed" to Kody: "I've made my choice. I'm still here."

Sukanya then asked why Kody hasn't left Meri, to which he responds: "It's a double standard. They can leave whenever they want. I can't."

"It's not a double standard because you emotionally have left and abandoned in some ways," Sukanya pointed out.

This remark is where things took a big turn for Kody.

"Abandoned? Please!" he snapped. "Take the word back because I take offense to that word of 'abandonment.'"

He continued: "When Meri had an affair she was leaving my [explective]! She made it clear to everyone that she was getting out of there... and she can't admit it now."

"She was leaving me for a better, richer man!" he added.

As you can imagine, Twitter was having a field day with Kody's decision to be offended by the word many have used to describe him.

"He has abandoned every one of his kids and wives but Robyn," tweeted one viewer.

"Hearing Kody say “abandoned, plEAse” is like nails on a chalk board," tweeted another.

"Kody did abandoned Meri when the divorce happened - that is abandonment. For whatever lame reason it happened. He put his and Robyn’s needs before her and her feelings. Plus he definitely abandoned Christine. He abandoned both physically, emotionally and mentally- PERIOD!" said a different viewer.

It's clear nobody is buying what Kody is selling, and I'm just happy to be along for the ride!

I hope all the wives continue to do what's best for them and their children.

Part two of the all-tell will air Sunday night on TLC.
