These days, most people know and recognize Meghan Markle as the (former)Duchess of Sussex. But there’s a lot more to Meghan than just her blue blood ties.

1. Meghan practices Yoga and has done so for years.
“Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor , and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven. I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, ‘Flower, you will find your practice – just give it time.'”
That’s right: Meghan’s mom calls her “Flower”.
“Did I say that? How funny. Yes, my mom calls me ‘ Flower ‘ She has always called me ‘Flower.’ It’s really funny because I don’t even think about it when I’m describing how we chat.”
2. She originally dreamed of a career in politics.
“By my junior year I had finished most of my credits, and I applied for an internship at the U.S. Embassy , so I ended up working in the embassy in Buenos Aires for a few months.”
