It’s time to douse yourself in hand sanitizer and hope for the best because flu season is back , baby.
Every year I think my immune system will do its job to help protect me from the dreaded misery of sniffles, sneezes, and coughs. And yet every year I end up curled inside a little blanket burrito, burning my way through a box of tissues, and trying to remember what it’s like to be able to breathe through my nose.

Also, those pill containers with child safety caps are great until you’re dizzy and sleepy and can’t figure out whether you’re supposed to push and twist, twist then push, or if this bottle just wasn’t meant to be opened.
I know it’ll make me feel better, but at what cost?
I’m the kind of person that cuts my pills in two and will open liquid tablets instead of swallowing them whole. My sore throat doesn’t need that kind of trauma.
